OCI HSE Policy Statement

It is the HSE policy of Oman Cables Industry SAOG to comply with all Health, Environmental and Safety Legislation, Acts, Regulations, Codes of Practice and other Guidance. OCI endeavors to provide a safe and healthy working environment including in its premises, equipment and systems of work that are reasonably practicable, safe and without risks to health.

To ensure that these policies are understood and implemented, OCI provides suitable and needed information, instruction and training to employees. Employees need to comply with all training that is given and follow the instructions and safe systems of work - including the use of all necessary personal protective gear/clothing.

OCI feels and assists its related stakeholders for health, safety and welfare of others (public, contractors and visitors) connected with OCI's business.

This policy is brought to the attention of all employees, regularly.

The HSE policy is updated through periodical reviews, (at least once annually) and takes into account all new equipment, processes or changes at work, which may affect anyone's health and safety.
